Sadly, I think it may have all too much to do with disheveled appearance, and not enough to do with reaction. You know, bits of leaves and twigs stuck in his hair, ripped suit, that sort of thing. Though possibly some of it could come from being attacked by a squirrel in the middle of a dignified speech of some sort.
