Okay, getting this out of the way now. Chris, Pat? What do you want me to cover in terms of expenses? Pat, I'll probably be covering two people for the room, and Chris, two people for the ride (if Tomas will fit). I can also bring food like last time, since I felt that worked out rather well.

Next up, I will be going crazy over the next week making an Urahara costume for Tomas. (Pat, you think he could borrow your geta? *puppy eyes*) I should be able to manage. Unless he keeps bugging me about it.

As a consolation to Lyzz, I'll be aiming to make a Demyx costume for him for a different occasion. With any luck, I'll have (or have had) a job by March, and the two of us will hopefully be able to join people on a trip to A-Cen or something. ...Part of this is indeed only to parade my brother around as part of a 'themed costume' thing. Damned if I can think of any KH(2) chara to play myself, though. ...First person to suggest King Mickey or similar gets a boot to the head. Though Belle I could probably stand.

My condition for making Tomas's costume is that, should we happen to run into an Ari [Okage] cosplayer somehow (HA!), I will make Tomas stop and hopefully be able to bum a picture of the two of them together. Hopefully with Ari wearing Urahara's hat. Or somesuch. ...Any other special Urahara moments I should be on the lookout to make happen?

My shirts are made for Audience cosplay (though they currently need to be washed), I have sugar cubes to make tickey-boxes, and I'm keeping my eyes open for cheap-o rings. (If worse comes to worst, I'll make my own.) I'll probably also make a stack of cards to explain CFUD--or at least give a general idea of it. Included (probably at the bottom) will be the address. ...Well, I hope so, at any rate. Pat, would that be kosher, do you know? The address does include the, er, 'full' name of the camp. If it's not, I can probably stand to write it out every time on the back or something (and while it's unlikely that writing the address down for people would be unkosher, I still feel the need to check--Pat?).

And I think that's everything. Adreneline is running high. Hope to put it to good use.

Oh yeah, CFUD people, any preference to ticky color? Because all I've got is the standard food coloring options RYGB. Thinking red.

Gumball machine rings are probably a last resort, but I'll definitely be looking for party favor ring bags. Heard from Mom there might be some at a store near by, so I may go check that out.

I've asked the hotel how much the room is going to be, but they've been ass hats and haven't gotten back to me. So, unfortunately, I probably won't know until Thursday when I check in. I'll make an LJ post with that amount, so be sure to check LJ.

Let's pretend for a moment that I'm not on staff. Would you do it? I personally don't care one way or the other, but if a staff member sees them and tells you to put them away and change your shirt and whatnot, if I were you I would do it or risk getting thrown out of the con.

Actually, King Mickey was just a poor attempt at a joke :D;;; Though this might actually make things simpler. If I have access to somebody cosplaying Demyx that I can take pictures of, Lyzz will probably be mollified (read: delighted no matter who it is), and that means I don't have to make a costume for Tomas or pay his way drag him along. I'll also probably not be making a costume for myself (though this image has me wildly tempted) unless someone has a request or something--though I would still like to tag along.

All of the shirts have only the shortened version of the camp name (CFUD), so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Probably. Though I think I may stick to carrying around a bunch of notecards and my pencil and having a ready-made quick explanation if people ask about it, as the thought of doing something wrong strikes abject terror into my anxiety-disordered perfectionistic soul.
