soc_puppetDropped my brother and his friend Nick off at Friday Night Magic (a Magic: The Gathering weekly tournament at a gaming store in Coralville), then proceeded to the library to veg out in front of a computer screen for a while. Decided, while I was here, to mention that the deck he's playing with is called (and based on the concept of) Snakes on a Plains. Which he somehow managed to make work, though apparently it doesn't do very well.
And now, an equally obscure joke (that I should make into an icon to go with my physics ones):
Etymology: It's all fun and games until somebody loses an 'i'.
...Pretty sure etymology is the study of words and their origins and not of insects/bugs/other creepy-crawlies. Too lazy to look it up on Google at the moment.
Finally, I have learned why it is a bad idea to get in trouble with the law in Japan, and I'll be looking at Detective Conan/Magic Kaito in a whole new way now. Not to mention it's feeding this pastfic bunny I got way back when... (I'll dig up a link later, I promise.) Plus, Eiri is now that much cooler for managing to become a lawyer in the first place.
And... yeah. That's all I've got right now.
