Books, Lurker Day, and question for Jeva

So, this morning, Dad came home from garage saling with two boxes of books, and urged me to take a look through them. I snatched up a picture book by one of my favorites (Graham Base, I think? Also did The Eleventh Hour, among other books), and a Neil Gaiman in the first box alone. And then I moved on to the second box, only to find the name Storm Constantine staring back at me.
Socchan: XD WTF!
Okay, so it's not a Wreaththu (or however it's spelled =_=) book, but it's still the same author. I snatched it up post-haste, and then had to come up with a quick explanation for Dad as to why I was laughing.
Socchan: ...Some of the characters from another book by this author are at the Zombie Camp Thing :D;;;
Jeva! What do you want to do about apping this round? You've got a lot of requests to reapp who you tried for last time, and I'm still not 100% sure about my computer access at the moment (though apparently the Kirkwood lab is open until 10:00 Mon-Fri o.O). But I did say I'd do the double reapp with you this time if you wanted to, so it's up to you. (Mentioning no character names at the moment, because I know for certain now that I have a CFUD player on my f'list (even though she already knows who we were double-apping a while ago).)
In other news, Fall Lurker Day has already reached at least two degrees of separation, despite short notice and much to my shock. If we manage three this time around, I'll probably be dancing in the hallways.
...I think there was something else I wanted to talk about, but it seems to have slipped my mind entirely :( I'll think of it sometime, though.
Edit: I remembered what I wanted to talk about! I'm finally all caught up with D. Gray-Man, and really, one thing in particular caught my notice. How the effing heck did Allen Walker get so hot?! I mean, shit, I was pretty indifferent up until now, but after the last few installments? I'd hit that. ...Though please stop reminding me that he's only fifteen. I feel much better about it if I can suspend my disblief and pretend he's actually seventeen-ish.

Date: 2006-08-26 07:27 pm (UTC)...I have no idea if that's what that is, actually. The blurb on the back doesn't mention anything about dragons. Anyway, damn you book expenses! Damn you! And thank God for libraries.
