I liiiiiiiive! *does the undead raise-from-a-coffin thing* (<---failed at updating on Sunday and didn't have access on Monday) I'm guessing that I will quickly come to hate government holidays.
It never fails. Leave the internet for one lousy day, and everyone updates. I now have about six things to download off of Lililicious and a new chapter of A Different Perspective to read. ...Not that I'm complaining. At all. Woo-hoo!
So, I take it everyone had a good Lurker Day on Saturday? ^__^ People delurked, continued lurking and/or offered up prezzies to the lurkers who may or may not have actually been in hiding* different places? (* The thing about lurkers is, you never really know. Even when they delurk, there could be more out there. Let's do our best not to frighten them :DD) ...I kinda failed at delurking myself. Part of it was that I didn't really pick up any new places that I regularly lurk since last time (and irregular lurking doesn't count, in my mind), and part of it was that I was just too darn busy to delurk anywhere I was still lurking. ...Plus, at least one of them I don't want to delurk at, so. But everyone else was courageous or not? And had lots of fun and stuff? And can't wait for March when we can do it all again? :DDD
Communications 18 is in the shop being beta'd, so that'll go up once I get it back and can fix stuff. Am currently pondering what to do with the next chapter and, more specifically, how the heck I'm going to re-read the Ai chapters for research. Chances are, I'll just visit Knightus' site and read it there, but I may go for downloads if I can manage it.
Maaaajor anxiety attack this afternoon. Left class early and stayed home because of it DD: Spent the rest of the afternoon getting control back and coaxing myself into feeling confident again. (I'm still kinda nervous after today =_=) Am definitely gonna reschedule my blood donation appt because of it. Am also going to take a much closer look at some of that ADD stuff, and possibly bring it up with my psychiatrist the next time I see her; it's been a little more than five years since I was tested, I think, and I'll probably need to get it redone. I wanna see what they can do about providing structure for me.
Dr's appt on Thursday; have to get up around eight for it >_< No fun. Not that I dislike doctors, or dentists for that matter. The early hour, on the other hand, I am not so fond of. Still, I should probably get back into the habit of waking up early. And going to bed early. And all that good stuff.
I finally got around to reading Sorcery and Cecilia a short while ago, and recently picked up The Grand Tour (the sequel). I'm quite pleased with what it does for both my vocabulary and my thought patterns while reading it. Even if none of it ever really rubs off, I feel much more polite just reading it. ...Also spent about fifteen minutes trying vaguely to remember how I knew how to pronounce Calais (city in France) because of the latter :D;; Eventually remembered that it was from reading Girl, Interrupted and Alice Calais/Callous. Hooray for me for remembering things! Anyway, am very much enjoying the book, though am not very far into it yet.
