RL stuff and a very bad joke

Late to the party library, as usual. ...Would've used that as a subject line, but they don't allow html changes up there, and I couldn't figure out a way to approximate it in text-only :D;;;
Today's trip to the blood center was, sadly, a failure ;_; I was one/two percent short on iron count. Rescheduled for the twenty-seventh at three-thirty, and was invited to stay for a soda and a cookie anyway ♥ I'm currently three units short of my first gallon milestone, so I hope I'll be able to pull it off next time. I was also givin a half sheet of paper with things I could eat to increase my iron count, so I wouldn't be always depending on just my daily vitamin.
Got home from school to Tomas's plans to make sandwiches and pick up a pizza for dinner. Parents overrode it and took us out to the place Tomas would've gotten the pizza from - Pizza Ranch. It's a pretty decent place. Has a buffet option, or menu options, and--get this--is one of the few places out there to continue to offer pizza in sizes of large, medium, and small. The buffet, for having relatively few choices, is still darn decent, and all four of us can find something to eat there. This is something of an accomplishment, since I'm of the opinion that, as far as most things are concerned, if three of us like it, the fourth won't.
Stopped by the bookstore while we were there, and spent $22 on FMA 9 and T:RC 10 (which I hadn't gotten yet, despite the fact that it's been out for a while). Flipped through the T:RC book, looking for characters, only to see the extra at the end which involved a mystery of some sort and Mokona wearing glasses and a bow-tie.
Socchan's reaction: ....I need scans of this. Right now. Must! Icon! Mokonan!
...I was this close to adding Madogawa to the end of that, I'll tell you now. There is no end to my geekery. Also, in my defence, CLAMP members are mystery fans.
We went to Hy-Vee next, where I spent about fifteen minutes looking over cereal bars and oatmeals, since there were some listed on the iron count food thing the blood center gave me. Turned out that the Special K bars someone had said had raised a doner's iron count had a total of 0% iron ¦D Spent about half the time after that comparing iron counts on oatmeal boxes, and then two of those minutes deciding between flavored and regular Hy-Vee brand oatmeal. Went with the regular in the end, despite slight worry over higher iron count (45% versus 20% of the flavored kind--I'm hoping it won't be too much with the vitamin I'm already taking).
Made a final stop at CVC Pharmacy (formerly Osco Drug) before returning home, where Mom had three twenty dollar coupons. I bought two packages of computer paper and stocked up on vitamins, so I won't be running out of those for a while. Ended up having to explain some DVD vs CD basics to Mom as a result. It always vaguely freaks me out when I know more about computers than she or Tomas do. The other day, I had to explain to Tomas how to get things off of (data) DVDs and onto the computer. I think I'm also going to have to tell Mom that the one computer can't read DVD minus. Food for thought.
As a result of all of that, I didn't get to leave for the library until about 7:30. Ah, well. I'll have more time tomorrow.
New Avatar eps tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to them ♥♥♥ Also, have started work on choosing pictures for my potential custom mood theme. Still want to get up the nerve to ask the people at imreallysad.com if it's okay, but I'm getting a start now, so I can at least look at them if I can't (which I should be able to, but one never knows).
Also, got chapter eighten back from my (wonderful and talented) beta reader the other day. Have a lot to go over. May end up re-working the entire first half. This is what I get for falling out of practice.

I think everyone needs a Sokka icon (myself included). Sokka is just that awesome. Also, there are some really fun Sokka moments coming up :D Including a few of my favorites in episode 02x01.
