Things I forgot to talk about earlier, fangirling, and more

Two things I forgot to talk about (school-related):

On Tuesday, after standing up in front of an easel for neigh on three hours, the following conversation took place:

Me: I'm just looking forward to being able to sit down for a while.
Teacher: You worked hard today; you deserve a Bud.
Me: ...I'm underage?
Teacher: Oh. Well, you deserve one anyway.
Me: XD I'll think about it.

'Course, I'm not really into finding out whether I'm an 'alcohol' person or not, so I haven't had one yet, but it's the thought that counts, right? We'll just ignore the fact that it was a college teacher advising one of his underage students to drink.


On Thursday, I took the oral part of my French exam, and was informed that (depending on the score) I got either a low A or a high B. Considering I thought a C would be optimistic, this surprised me somewhat. ...Though, in retrospect, that last page was probably just for reference and not for actual credit :D;;


Also whiting out, Just In Case.

I... really don't have much to say about those two episodes at the moment. Other than
a) We finally get to see Katara with her hair down! Win!
b) Toph/Suki yuri fanservice? o_O *waves Yuri flag vaguely*
c) The engineering in the second episode... Even if it's inaccurate, it gets love from me.
d) ...Someone do me a favor and convince me that Jet isn't actually Antisocial so I can like him.

Yeah, that's kinda all I've got at the moment. Aside from general "I wanna see 'em again!" Which, thankfully, I can, since I have them on video :DDD ....We'll just ignore that the tape I've got 'em on has been recorded over often enough that it's losing quality.

...Hey, is anyone else having trouble highlighting things on LJ? I can't seem to manage it without the shift key. Well, okay, I can manage it on my Friends page, and on actual journals, but not on individual entries, whether I'm writing them, commenting on them, or just looking at them. Is it an IE thing, or a library computer thing, or what?

Glad you did well on your French. I'd write something en français but I forgot nearly everything I learned in that class. C'est la vie.

Don't know about yor technical problems, the libraries here all ahve Firefox.

XD He probably could've. But then again, he works at a community college, and is probably cheap.

Thanks ^_^ I'm doing better than I did in Spanish, at any rate.

I've got a mixed bag of what I have access to. About half the hallway computer stations at Kirkwood have Firefox, and the other half have Explorer. The city library computers have both, but I'm more familiar with IE, so that's what I tend to use.

It's only a bug in some of the page loads. *shrug* As for keywords, I'm hopefull, but.

I haven't really noticed all the glitches yet myself ^^a I don't fiddle much with my icons. *hopes LJ will get its act together*
