I can't really say much about today, except that it's been the kind of day that makes me want to write things that are little more than an excuse to use poetic turns of phrase. Those short sentences that are really pretty and say more than you think they do and sometimes even give you the shivers. Which, since that is a poor excuse at best, is probably why I'm not writing those fanfics. (The other excuse being that I've never been very good at them.) Still, it's nice to think about.
Went out and voted at five-twenty, and then took entirely too long doing it. Mostly because I was trying to work out whether I had to vote for every question. I'm guessing I don't, but if that isn't the case, then I have no idea whether I'll find out or not.
Handed out my two extra pieces of tone paper in art class. Will be going to get more before Thursday, hopefully. I hear Hobby Lobby had them on sale, and for a good price, too, so I may be checking them out there.
Other than that, not a lot to talk about. Looking forward to the live Daily Show/Colbert Report special tonight, and also vaguely hoping to get home on time for Futurama, but that's about it. I guess I just don't have much to say today.

Date: 2006-11-10 01:23 am (UTC)What makes it worse is that I was able to register a few months in advance--we can register when we're 17 and 1/2 here, you see, but we still can't vote until we're 18--so when this nice woman from the Democratic party called me up to say that they were calling everyone who had recently regestered to ask them to hopefully vote in the upcoming election (and hopefully for Kerry, but she wasn't going to tell us how to vote), I had to turn her down ;_; It broke my heart, man. (I was also tempted to go try and vote anyway and see if I could get away with it, but I didn't in the end ^^a)
