On Avatar and money-making scheemes

Currently having a great time in Texas ^__^ Still a teensy bit anxious about home, but that's mostly in the "in case another awesome card comes in the mail for me while I'm gone" category, so it's all good. I'm pretty sure my dad won't get uptight about it if it's from another state or country.
Lots of people are here/coming/going. One of the relatives that's staying is my Aunt Sherri, who works in the movie buisness and who we don't get to see often enough. I also got to meet one of my cousin's cousins.
Went out to Wal*Mart last night, at which place I found out that the next Avatar DVD still is not out (need to check the Nick website, find out more about that), and that I may have the perfect thing to spend the $70 that I got for Christmas on: the Avatar season one box set. Which I really only want for the extras DVD, seeing as I kinda bought the rest on an "as they came out" basis ^^a (I wanna see the pilot episode! Regular, and then with commentary! *whine, whine*) ...And then I remembered that I was planning to go to Anime Central this year, and it might be a good idea to save some money for that. So. Torn, now. Spend money on big time anime convention, or on favorite cartoon show? Decisions, decisions. (It'll probably be the con, though.)
Speaking of A-Cen, decided in the car trip yesterday that I am so making myself a CFUD (A-Cen '07 Tour) T-shirt and bringing it with me to make everyone sign. 'Cuz it would be awesome. And I also contemplated the possibility of selling some of my homemade CFUD t-shirts there in order to make a little extra cash. 'Cuz yeah, I likes money. And also maybe bringing some printed out transfers and my iron, and charging a smaller amount for them. Again, money = my friend (when I have it). But, uh. Don't know how that would be recieved, so.Not that I didn't plot out potential prices for everything I could think of yesterday... (Speaking of money-making scheemes, I should probably get to work on those bags sometime soon. As it would be a good idea.)
Also planning to write a polite letter to whoever's in charge of the Nickelodeon toy design/whatever, asking nicely for female Avatar action figures. 'Cuz there's at least eight characters they could make, and they've already got three versions of Aang, a random, faceless Fire Nation soldier, and Avatar Roku, who only ever shows up to Aang himself. Also, our family has had good luck with writing similar letters to Lego, followed by getting girl heads in the mail. Go, us! ...I'll probably also write a more indignant/snarky version to put on LJ, and may or may not include fanart in the actual letter. Still contemplating.
Edit: Coming soon, to a LiveJournal near you: My Big Fat Greek Funeral. STFU, humor is totally a defence mechanism.
