Which is mostly related to Anime Central

Well, with only about one and a half months left until Anime Central, I finally decided it was time to buckle down and get ready for it ¦D Which meant walking to the computer lab today. It only took me about half an hour, which is actually pretty good time for that walk, if I do say so myself. Anyway, if I keep this up and do this maybe once or twice a week until I leave for the con, I should be fairly well prepared to climb stairs, should I have to. *has no idea how many floors the hotel will have, rly*

I still need to make some more solid plans re: me actually getting there, but I'm pretty sure I can safely put that off for at least another week or so. Also need to get back to work on my costume ^^a My shoes need a bit of repair, and I still need to make the wrist bands and fix the flaps. *is lazy, whut* And I defnitely still need to make the water pouch that Katara carries around. I've got some good cloth for the water now, and a fairly decent plan on how to make it work, but I still have to make the bag first. ...I also kinda wanna make a Water Tribe version of that bag Sokka splurges on in episode 2x06. That way, I'd have something to carry my stuff around in that would be more-or-less coordinated with my outfit! ...OhGod I am such a dweeb.

And, uh, yeah. I guess that's about all I have to say at the moment. Er. I know I've asked this before, but my f'list has kinda grown a little since then, so. Anyone else planning on going at the moment?

Note to self: make and upload the dratted crafting icon already.

Edit: You know what I think would be nifty? A "go to next thread" button for LJ. I mean, it would be so much easier than going back and fourth between individual threads and the original post, especially if you're going to read all of 'em and the post is massive. Just my two cents there.

Also check to see that it hasn't been done in awhile, just in case. Some suggestions are getting re-reviewed now, but you never know.

I'm going to Anime Central. Starting to poke around at getting a costume in order right now for it (yay for making tradition beaded Sengoku Jidai armor) and all that fun crafty stuff.

Yay for a Katara costume though, that sounds so spiffy ^^

Yah, I'll have to see closer to the convention date when the best time would be. I'm still not sure when the panel I'm co-running is going to be, so that'll dictate a lot of my scheduling ^^;

Oooh yes, I remember replying to that post~ The costume is so nice and it's always great to see Avatar cosplayers at conventions ^^
