But first, a GIP ¦D Hooray, I finally have my cosplay/crafting icon!

Anyway. Went out for breakfast/lunch after church today, since today was Palm Sunday and thus a) special and b) far less likely to be completely booked restaurant-wise, unlike next Sunday. During lunch, the topic of CFUD came up (especially as it is also only a week before I'll be able to talk about it more freely, yay ♥)

As I was saying! The topic of CFUD came up. And I kinda vaguely mentioned the concept of CFUD Con. And Dad says, "Well, if people wouldn't mind camping out, they could use our backyard! It's even got a little pond in it that we could pretend was a lake!" And my first response was, of course, "ALsdkfjsdl." Followed by, "About how many people would you want to cap this at? (Also, I love you Dad ♥)" And he said about twenty. So, uh. I possibly have a location for at least a CFUD midwest get-together, even if it's too small for an actual con o_O Still mentally working out potential kinks involved, but. It is an idea, at least.

Secondly, Tomas and I kinda batted the idea of cosplay around. And eventually Tomas suggested Ari (from Okage). And of course I leapt all over the idea, especially since he played Urahara last year. ....And yeah, for CFUDers, that should have a certain amount of significance.

And yeah. I think I'm about out of things to talk about for now. Or at least out of coherence to do so. Better entry tomorrow, probably.

Also, bonus points to LJ for appearing to have finally fixed the DST thing.

I haven't really been paying attention, but I'd guess that DST worked last year and, since today is when DST would have begun by the old rules (before congress decided to "help" us save daylight), I'd guess that the old rules still work on LiveJournal. And today we finally caught up with them.
