Mild griping and jibbering about mail
Apr. 19th, 2007 03:51 pmWaaargh, I didn't take my meds yesterday :( And now I am sad and gloomy-ish feeling. But I'm not going to let it keep me down! ...That's for stress to do. (Three choices: learn whatever I can about Word/Excel by three o'clock tomorrow and go in with my brain stuffed; learn nothing new about Word/Excel by three o'clock tomorrow and go in with my brain pleasantly unstuffed; learn nothing new about Word/Excelt by three o'clock tomorrow and just don't go in. ...I'm leaning towards the second option, I think. I hope.) Also, must learn/teach self how to make a resume =_= Eeeeevil. Why does finding a job have to involve so much work? I'm about ready to break down and try for Hy-Vee or McDonald's even. ...Except then I might run into too many people that I know, le sigh. Did take my meds before I left for the lab this afternoon, so maybe I can switch onto a daytime schedule for 'em.
On the plus side of today, it looks like I'll probably be able to get away with First Class Mail rates for a lot of domestic t-shirt ordering :Db 'Specially if people order them one at a time and stuff. Proooobably going to have to use Global Priority Mail flat rate envelopes for international stuff, though I'm hoping more that I can use GPM Letter Post for at least individual shirt orders. I think I'll be able to manage it, which would be beyond awesome. I should still probably read all the details before I go shipping-happy, though. Anyway, I should be able to organize a table of sorts by the end of the week, so hooray!
Aaand that's about it for now. Am determined to feel better by the end of the day. Go, Socchan! Fight! Win! Alsdkfjsdlk need fiiiiic....
Edit: Heaven help me, I should be making the innitial shirt ordering post sometime soon. Let's hope I get it to a place where I'll feel okay leaving it unlocked for the masses.
Edit 2: Post is up. Now watch as no one actually wants something for all my hard work and stress ¦D

Date: 2007-04-19 09:05 pm (UTC)commenting here because there's nowhere better to put this is GO!
Date: 2007-04-20 01:48 am (UTC)I can't recall another time when I've been this proud to take the blame for something.
Hopefully you respond to this in the same fashion as I did, and not with disturbance or brain-breakage. I believe we have found another thing that deserves the title of wrongderful.

Date: 2007-04-20 02:11 am (UTC)Good luck with the shirts! I'd definitely order one, if not for the whole "my parents will kill me for getting stuff from 'strangers'" and also I have no money. Know how I said I took $300 to MTAC? Well, it was more like $360. I came back with two. Not two hundred. Just. Two. ^^;
Love your keywords ;)
Date: 2007-04-20 02:18 am (UTC)I know you you feel DD: ...And that's what I forgot to mention! D'oh! (Er, what I forgot to mention being that I'd put "printable versions" of the t-shirt designs up if people wanted to buy their own transfers and stuff.) Eyowch >_O That's ...quite a bit of spending.
And in other news, eet ees up! And now all I have to do is make a post to CFO about it :Db (Please to be noting the text under the "I may need permission for" section of the 'designs' part, and know that, with you being an awesome friend and stuff, I may be persuaded to cover shipping too in this case ;) You know, if you find some way to get it ♥)
gee i wonder why! :D
Date: 2007-04-20 02:28 am (UTC):Db (I actually have my own transfers, so you don't have to worry about that! I can just wait until you make the printable versions. I greatly appreciate the offer, though. ♥♥♥)
:P
Date: 2007-04-20 02:33 am (UTC)I'm torn. Should I add a note/link about the official CafePress store or not? I mean, I kinda think Biz has forgotten it, but that doesn't mean everyone has, especially since I talk about it in the post in question. (Okay, sounds good ^___^b ♥♥♥)

Date: 2007-04-20 02:37 am (UTC)I don't see how it could hurt! They might need a friendly reminded, and even if they do remember, it couldn't hurt to add one anyway.

Date: 2007-04-20 02:39 am (UTC)...I should stop summing up my feelinsg at any given moment with emoticons.
Okay, then! Shall do :3 Post will go up shortly and I will not panic at all, I won't, definitely not, rly.

Date: 2007-04-20 06:52 pm (UTC)...Also, I read it. And is it bad that my first thought was, "Of course! Time machines! That's my solution to the Wilbur/Louis situation!"? (My second thought, of course, was "This is ingenious crack, yo ♥")

Date: 2007-04-21 12:25 am (UTC)And you've got a point there. I suppose the question now would be, do I propose it and then challenge people, or do I just write it myself, and hope people who want to write it are willing to borrow the idea?
