Okay, I now officially have my first plans for Anime Central. And know where most of my money is going to go. Thirty-five dollars is nowhere near enough, man. I'd been half-planning to pick up a Dominic Deegan anthology, but this kinda blows those plans out of the water. I've been wanting ALC stuff for years, and have yet to get the courage to actually order any at a bookstore, so this solves my problem neatly.

...I'm probably going to dip into my food money at this rate. It'll be worth it.


Edit: My problem, I think, is that I'm afraid to take chances on things where I might actually end up happy.

We have a garage sale on Saturday, and then my sister's last choir concert is on Sunday, so we're doing the "we're taking everything you can live without for a week home" move after the concert, and they need an extra pair of hands ;o;

...when is Anime Iowa? I'm going to be majorly emo-ish if it falls on the same weekend as conference/camps again...if we don't have that conflict, the deciding factor will be money ^^;;

August 10-12. Registration is currently at $45 dollars (unless you're willing to drive to Iowa City once a month and back to be a staff member, in which case it'll go down too $25), but that's all you'll have to pay total, since my family is willing to put you up (and msbbt ♥) so you don't have to get a hotel room if you decide to go ♥

Aw man, I'm jealous. I got to go to one small local con this year and that's it. (Not that that wasn't fun, but it's really not even close, even to a midsize con much less a major one).

I usually only go to the medium-sized local con, but this year I decided to splurge a little so I could meet CFUD people :Db.
