New (to me) series/addictions

...Okay, yes, fine, I'm reading Air Gear! And I actually got through the first volume this time and everything! And... shit, Akito is the cutest thing ever. There've got to be a million and one yaoi fics and doujinshi about him, and yet I'm too scared to look. Do I even want to ship him with Ikki (and also Agito by extension), or do I want to side with canon on this one? Or maybe I should go for the OT3/4 route... Hmm... On a related note, why is there no Air Gear yuri on shoujoai.com? I could soooo make a case for Simca and Mikan. Though, come to think of it, I could probably make a case for the Ikki/Ringo/Simca OT3 as well... Maybe I'll only end up shipping the 'main canon ship' as part of an OT3(4)... Yanno what, screwit, I'll just get as far as I can before I start thinking too much about what I 'ship or don't 'ship.

Also managed to catch something like the first four episodes of Heroes the other day/night when the SciFi channel was marathonning it. I can officially say that I enjoy it more knowing what the story is than when I caught part of a random episode from probably somewhere in the middle. I've become curious now, but I don't know that I'm curious enough to go out of my way to find and watch the rest as of yet.

Downloaded the first few episodes of Romeo x Juliet this weekend as well; only watched the first two so far, but I think I've been sold ;) If I could figure out a way to do my hair like "Odin's", I would so think about cosplaying Romeo. Just sayin'. Mercutio seems to be a much different character, which is a shame on one hand, 'cuz he's the favorite character of so many people that there are rumors that Shakespeare killed him off because he was getting too popular, but I'm liking that Ben-something guy (I wanna say Benvolio?) who seems to be his replacement/original personality double just as much, so I think I'm good :3b Currently waiting patiently for the sixth episode to finish downloading so I can get it on my computer. (I also have probably more copies of You Raise Me Up than is good for me, but I'm still willing to take more. If you have any version other than the RxJ opening (TV size), the Spanish version, the karaoke version, or the versions by Josh Groban or Celtic Woman (?), I would be happy to take them off your hands? Just... for reference's sake. ZOMG, it's Danny Boy with happier lyrics, I think I'm in heaven or something o_o) ...Anyway, with that said, I'll maybe be seeing what I can do about uploading the episodes for people in a few days or so. Or maybe just eventually. WHO KNOWS. (Advance notice: YouTube has already taken down the episodes someone put up. Just so you know.)

Aaand that's all I've got for now. Will be cleaning like a mad thing the next few days as well, so I can be prepared for Icka and Mati. And then... I dunno. I'll have a forehead made of justice or something.

Hmmm, what would Candy like... *pondery-ponder* I'll have to check my list. (Though if you feel like checking out Air Gear, there's two things to know: a) it is full of fanservice, and I mean full, and b) you need to hold on until at least the fourth volume, when you meet Akito/Agito :Db)

What a coincidence! I was just wondering how things were going to work out for Mati and Icka to visit you with their current itinerary and you being five hours away. So, uh, if it's not too short of notice, maybe drop in on Memorial Day or something? Other than that, I'm sure we can work something out.

Anime :Db And manga, but I still have to dig up the scans and make someone translate 'em for me. (I'd be willing to do the editing myself, though!) And it's awesome ♥ It has crossdressing and swashbuckling and assassination/mass murder and also dragon-horses :DDD Also, it has William Shakespeare himself in it, as a very flamboyant (failing) playwrite and stuff.
