Catching up on things

Have been spending the last few days trying to catch up on Detective Conan as fast as I can. I'm at the beginning of book forty-nine just now, and I mostly blame my habit of just skimming cases I'm not interested in. And by 'not interested in' I mean 'don't have Sonoko or major plot developments', heh heh ^^a

A few quick things:

One: Kazuha is a Takarazuka fangirl? WTF o_O
Two: Heiji is, quite possibly, the densest detective who ever lived. I mean, even Shin'ichi figured out that he was interested in Ran as more than just a 'little follower'!
Three: ...I just really love how... ruthless Sonoko can be ♥ She's totally the "Take No Prisoners" type when it comes to her friends' romances and also sometimes checking out cute guys, and I just think it's beyond awesome. Go, Sonoko, go!


In other news, I am not allowed on Sonoko's account today until after I've sent out this stack's worth of AI confirmations. I'll make an edit here when I have, KICK ME IF YOU SEE ME ANSWER ANYTHING AS SONOKO BEFORE THEN.

Edit: E-mails SENT! T^Tb Snail mails can wait until I get home. I'll do another stack tomorrow.

Oh yeah. Out of the four guys (Hakuba, Kaito, Shinichi, Heiji), Heiji is by far THE MOST DENSE CHARACTER. He gets upset over Kazuha paying attention to another person. Even a 12 year old knows what jealousy is! A part of me keeps giving him the benefit of the doubt... he's in denial, I used to tell myself. No, he's just hopeless, 'nuff said.

And yes, I love Sonoko too. Her overly helpfulness when it comes to Ran's not-quite-there love life is just precious!

The thing is, he kinda gets that he's jealous (in that he recognizes a feeling and the source and that he DOESN'T LIKE IT), he just doesn't get why. Someone needs to sit that boy down and drill some sense into him.

Hooray, more Sonoko fangirls! I was so sure I was the only one, and then I found out Dagron liked her too, and now you! Life is getting better T^Tb She still needs more fic, though.
