Happy Lurker Day Celebration!

...What. I like the kitty banner. I've wanted to use it since I first saw the pic; I just didn't have any text ideas on the first Lurker Day.
Anyway, love you all ♥ Lurkers and non-lurkers alike ^_~ So for the Lurkers, I'm hopefully going to have some pretty Magic Kaito fic up for you within the next few days (I'M LATE, I'M SORRY, I'M SO SORRY, I APOLOGIZE TO THE WOOOOORLD----!). And for non-Lurkers and de-Lurkers, comment here with a fandom + character/pairing/group of characters/whatever (+ prompt), and I will write you at least three "things" of my choice. They could be haiku, they could be one-sentence fics, they could be personal canon, they could make up a fic together, or I might even sneak a couple of doodles in there. ...In fact, to make it extra sexy, de-Lurkers get at least five.
And now, I have some de-lurking of my own to do before time runs out ¦Db I'mma finally get to those places I didn't even manage to de-lurk since the first Lurker Day!

Oh, um, you want fandom stuff? Uh....Conan, with Kid and Shinichi as the characters...prompt: A heist goes very wrong, but not in a bad way.

Date: 2007-09-02 09:22 pm (UTC)XD I'll count it half-way and give you four.
* Shin'ichi thinks back to the time that the vat of pie filling fell on the Kid instead of the police whenever he needs a pick-me-up; the mess was terrible, but the look on the Kid's and Nakamori's faces were worth it, and clean-up was more than enjoyable.
* He still worries sometimes when he thinks of the one with gunfire where Kid almost fell off the end of the sky-scraper without his hang-gliader but managed to catch himself in time; what would he do, Shin'ichi wonders, if Kaito hadn't caught himself?
* There was also the time when Ran and Aoko found out everything, and there had been a lot of explaining to do after that one; Shin'ichi had been hoarse for weeks afterwards from the apologies alone, but he could also breathe easier, free at last from the snare of too many secrets.
* And then there was the one where--
"Shin, I'm trying to sleep here, could you maybe stop reminiscing so much?"
"Okay, Kaito." Kiss. "Good night."
"Mm, 'night."
...It wasn't really that important anyway.

Date: 2007-09-05 01:37 am (UTC)cakepieeasier.* The thought occurred to Mori after club one day as he was staring at a candy that had been left behind at Honey's table: why, he wonders, can't they all just continue to stick together the way they are now, at least in some form?
* Kyouya had thought of it, of course, on several occasions (usually very late at night, usually after a very long day, and whenever those two occasions crossed with whenever he thought as few people as possible would be listening), but he didn't actually think it could work until after the fiasco with Tamaki's fiancée when he finally had to pull out all the stops and show his hand; at that point, he began to contemplate it seriously.
* Tamaki was more-or-less blindsided by it in a candy store one day by his very caring friends and now lifemates; before then, well, of course he called Kyouya his 'wife', and of course he thought Haruhi was beautiful and amazing, and if he sometimes noticed Mori-senpai more than some of the other Host Club members, well, there was just more of him to notice; luckily, Haruhi managed to explain everything in small enough words that even he could understand.
* Haruhi, of course, had really noticed it before the rest of them - all the little things, in the way Kyouya pronounced their names just so, or how Tamaki was always careful to give them the perfect jobs, or what Mori's posture said and how it spoke more clearly than his mouth was ever likely to; typically for her, though, she waited for them to notice before doing anything about it.
...Honey-senpai or no Honey-senpai, that thing still took an age to write.

Date: 2007-09-05 02:48 am (UTC)...XD You have just strained my brain from the mention of it, and I look forward to your writing it (or arranging for it to be written - BY SOMEONE ELSE, NO OBJECTIONS) and thoroughly breaking my brain then.

Anything more specific than that? 'Cuz if not, then I'mma just end up giving you little crack drawings of ideas that I hope to expand on someday. ...And something random, because I only really have two ideas.

Date: 2007-09-05 12:44 am (UTC)* Getting up early in the morning to make breakfast is something Shin'ichi does as a habit, even on weekends, but it's not very popular around the house; it's usually Heiji who's sent to drag him away from the flour and eggs and back to bed ("where he belongs"), at the loud, vocal insistence of Kazuha and Ran.
* Heiji's favorite times are when they lay around in a heap together, on very hot days or very cold days or whenever they've just had a really good time, sticking together in places and piled like pancakes.
* Back at the start of everything - or the end of everything, depending on how you looked at it - crimes and secrets and problems and just life in general piled up so much that Kazuha can only think of them as round and flat and stacked that you had to attack it in pieces to make any headway at all; they managed to clean the plate eventually, though not without a stomach ache or two.
* Most days Ran thinks it's some sort of miracle that they all made it through alive, and another miracle on top of that that they've managed to make the relationship work, and really it's just like whipped cream and strawberries on top - which, when she mentioned it over breakfast one day, was taken entirely out of context by the boys, to the her slight exasperation and the enjoyment of all.
...I'd slap an "End OT4-y Goodness" sticker here, but my OT4 will probably remain Heiji/Kazuha/Sonoko/Makoto, so.
