April failure

soc_puppetSo yesterday I was completely evil and brought chocolate-covered strawberries to work.
"Happy April Fools' Day!" I said. "Here, have a chocolate-covered strawberry! :D"
Sadly, I don't think I was quite suspicious-seeming enough, as no one seemed to get the joke in person. Maybe I should've gone to the trouble of telling people about how they were perfectly ordinary and there was nothing wrong with them at all...
Oh, I also took a really long walk (an hour and twenty minutes - almost three times my usual time length) and, to my utter bewilderment, managed to catch two Surfing Pikachu with my HG Pokéwalker. Meanwhile, I have had nowhere near such luck with my SS Pokéwalker, despite being much farther along in the game with it. (Or perhaps it is because of that? I shall never understand these contraptions.)
Planning to walk to and possibly from my AI meeting tomorrow; looking forward to having lots and lots of watts to try and get a !$#%Q@# Flying and/or Surfing Pikachu with. Ah, poor scheduling of meetings; how interesting you make life...
