The bad, the good, and the resolving

soc_puppetFirst, some bad news: I lost Arthur last night. He was a good rat, and a fantastic trooper, and almost made a full fifty-two weeks with him. Sadly, it was not to be. On New Year's Eve, he got a respiratory infection and wasn't too into eating, so I had a reasonable idea that something was coming. He made it into the new year - so the West's Year of the Rat, at least - but not much farther than that.
I miss you, buddy. I hope you're getting lots of love and attention wherever you are, and that, if you've met up with Ford, you can keep each other company and stuff until I see you again. I love you both.
On the less sad-making side of the force, I have vowed to have fic typed up and posted for the lot of you by the end of today, and by God it's going to happen. Expect crack-ish crossover shortly-ish, I hope.
Oh yeah, and in no particular order, here are my new year's resolutions:
1) Learn to say "no"
2) Cosplay as someone -other- than season two Katara
3) Finish what I sta
