Between being vaguely sick-ish and otherwise too lazy to get to the computer lab (also: out of town, hallo thar Des Moines!) over the past four days, I seem to have missed some Strange Happenings. Or at least some Political Activistic Decision Making. Suffice to say, I have no idea what is going on. Someone either fill me in, so I -can- know, or take everything I do/say over the next [generic time unit] with a grain of salt.

In the real world, I've got vague plans to go to Ceder Rapids and be Bohemian tomorrow with the family, and even vaguer plans for costume-making for Anime Detour, which is fast approaching. (Anyone know if there's a meet-up planning post on CFO yet?) I'm currently daydreaming plans for making of shoes, because it seems interesting. I hope I'll be able to one-up my previous pair. Also wondering how to go about the hat, because grah. Hat. It may prove moot point, but I'm kinda half-hoping it won't.

I'm sure there's more to say, but I'm still a tad brain-cooked at the moment, so it's not coming to me. Ah, well. I'll probably figure it out the second I start home.

The LJ strike, you mean? Basically, it's a strike to protest against SUP taking out the Basic account option out. People are just not going to post/comment/accept comments/whatever on LJ for a day.

Yeah, that. That's about the sense I got of it, but I have no facts to back it up, and it appeared to be set up for the day I was posting, so. Plausible denyability, yay!
