I need to make more astronomy jokes

I have the inordinate desire to describe some hypothetical writing as "prose so purple, it'd have to be moving away for you to read it," if only for the three astronomers out there who would get the joke.

I also want to describe Vancouver as the chicken flavor of scenery, because according to (primarily American?) television, everywhere looks like it. Okay, that's just because 90% [← arbitrary statistic] of US shows are filmed on location there, but still. IT'S THE CHICKEN FLAVOR OF SCENERY, GUYS.

Dang, that is nice; now I definitely need to visit if not move in.

I've been across the boarder once, but that was years ago and by Niagara Falls, which is probably Americanized enough not to count. [/bias]
