Detour Report (Part 2)

Not pictured here are the first Toph and Zuko cosplayers I ran into, as I never did get around to getting their pictures.Their costumes were inferior anyway.
At Detour, there was a very lovely room party going on after seven on both Friday and Saturday, the Tea Weevil Room Party. It had tea, bread and crayons (though the last you were not encouraged to consume). It also had a Mako shrine and DVDs (mostly Avatar) showing, and a Toph, Mai and (on Saturday) Zuko playing host(ess)s ♥ By the middle of the second party, I'd pretty much adopted myself into the room ^^a
From the first evening. Could not resist the adorable. Or possibly the crack. (Most likey both.)

Random Water Tribe Warrior! \o/ The cosplayer was originally aiming for Sokka, but didn't finish some of the costume details on time apparently. It still looked awesome.
Large group shot ♥ Yay for everyone! Alternate version has me looking somewhat worse (-_-a I swear I'm gonna re-make that costume with better cloth) but Mai and Zuko doing this adorable dance-like thing(?).
Fire versus Water! Who will win?! ...I've no idea. On the one hand, not having any idea what the fight is about suggests maybe Water Tribe, with them being somewhat more ...decisive than Zuzu and more ...enthusiastic than Mai. On the other hand, Fire Nation does have two main characters, while Water Tribe only has one plus a Random Soldier; Fire may have the greater prowess in this instance. Hmmm....
Pairing war! We had to do it, man. We had to. (I am so going to dig up a way to put lighting into this photo, I swear I am.)
Mai = victorious? ...I have no idea, actually. I do know that this picture involved a great deal of effort on the Zuko's part, so thanks again for agreeing to it T^Tb
Mai eating broccoli. Eat your vege tables kids, or the scary goth emo ninja will come and whine at you in the middle of the night! ...On second thought, that might not actually be that much of a deterrent. Hmmm...
Third Zuko I ran into. Was cosplaying a Sora the day before, and also a female Cloud (?!) who accompanied first a Riku and then a female Sephiroth who was playing his/her theme on the flute ♥ Requested a Zutara pic for her friend, which I failed to get a copy of (oops?), but agreed to on the basis of being an open-minded Katara/Aang fan (a fact which made more than a few fans scarily happy o_O What is going on in the fandom, guys?). Also because it involved Zuko looking grumpy, which I cannot disagree with. Did request a showdown pic in return, which is shown above. Such bright colors!
This was a sign held by a young fangirl I met while waiting by the front door with some stuff I'd been asked to watch. I felt I needed a picture of it.
Some pictures from the Wall of Awesome at the room party. (Well, what did you think the crayons were for? Something other than drawing nifty new Avatar-verse creatures?) The last one's mine. Not featured (today, at least) is the Totoro-Chilla, the totoro chinchilla combo drawn by the Zuko that was absolutely adorable, and that I got permission to turn into an icon ♥ A picture awaits on my hard drive for me to get off my butt and do just that.
Aaaand, that's all I've got. Hopefully I haven't screwed up any HTML this time.
