Okay, snow in April I can stand. I may not like it, I may think it's stupid, but I can stand it. But this late in April? Nu-uh. No way. No, thank you. Please take this stupid snow away before it hurts the plants DD: (The violets are blooming, guys. The violets. I mean, I can totally see snow on daffodils and scillia and tulips even, but on violets? Come on!)

The snow appears to be melting more or less as it hits the ground, but if any sticks I'll be sure to snap and share a few ;) Though I might do it anyway, since the flowers are pretty themselves.

Cool! We didn't get many snow-days. Western North Dakota is more windy and cold in the winter than snowy.

It didn't snow here. But it was FREEZING this morning. And on Friday, we went from being in the high fifties/low sixties in the morning...to into the thirties by the time school let out. Crazy weather this time of year DX

The weather in Iowa is either controlled by a temperamental teenager, possibly with PMS...or a five-year-old with ADD. It's that simple. Wonder what'll happen tomorrow--I think there's supposed to be more rain this week, too.

I'll admit that I was born before either dirt or smartasses were invented, but I've seen snow falling in Iowa City in June.

I remember hearing a story of roughly the same from Mr. Koepnick at CHS, actually, but that still doesn't excuse the weather from yesterday. [/bias]
