Well, operation Make Socchan Say No (still open, and anyone who wants to sound like a pushy salesperson is greatly encouraged) seems to be going well enough, so it looks like I'll be opening up operation Make Socchan Take Time to Answer Questions!


IN THIS POST: Comment here with a tricky question of some sort, most likely that will involve opinion in some way, shape, or form. I will reply with some statement telling you that I can't answer now, but I'll think about it and get to you in a few minutes/later today/tomorrow (depending on how complex the question is). Having given it some serious thought, I'd say she's motivated by pride; she's put a lot into this campaign, and made some very strong statements, and while backing out might at this time be the wisest option, I feel she may be choosing to stay in more to comply with actions she's already taken and words she's already spoken than any real faith that she'll get the nomination.

In regards to yaoi: All in all, a valuable commodity on the internet. Useful in trades, bribes, entertainment, et cetera, only a towel has more general applications, and that is only due to the fact that there are more fans of towels than yaoi more's the pity. On a more serious note, I'm rather put off by things like static topping dynamics and instant emasculation of bottoms that I find rather prevalent in some of the more poorly written fiction (both fan and original) and would like to see some of that change. I'm wholly unsure where I stand in regards to it as vocabulary, especially in comparison to other terms with similar (if not identical) meanings, especially with how subjective some terms tend to be taken. I'm also disappointed by the phenomena detailed in the first half of this post, as well as homophobes in general :/

As to Mr. Piper, I'm afraid I'm going to need a little time to do the math on that. Give me half an hour or so?

Regarding Mr. Piper's problem: if I could kindly be informed of the volume of space the average pickled pepper occupies, I would be quite glad to carry the appropriate divisional measures with the volume of a peck. Otherwise, I am afraid I'll be of little use.

Twenty-four hours later, I believe I can safely say that I have no one character (that I know of) who fits for my favorite from anything for everything ever; if you point to a specific fandom, I will likely be able to list a favorite or three, as well as various reasons and categories of favoritism, but likely there will never be only one.
