School was canceled today on account of rain. Freezing rain, granted, but still rain. I'm just glad I didn't have to drive on Horrible Road Of Bad Driving Conditions this morning, especially considering I had trouble walking out there. Brrr.

...It was also canceled all of three minutes before Aurora (that's the coworker who I made the crochet kitty for) and I drove into the parking lot, resulting in us having navigated dangerous icy roads at ass-early-o'clock in the morning for no legitimate reason. I hope we get points for showing up on time, at least.


Oh, and in a subject only slightly related to yesterday's music request...

Anyone out there know how to change the relative volume level on individual mp3 files? 'Cuz taking time away from driving to turn the volume up or down is kinda not the best idea ever, especially in this weather.


And now I'm off to write a shmoopy, girly fairy-tale type snow maiden story, because certain themes get stuck in my head sometimes. OH YEAH, and if you want a crocheted snowflake, plz to be replying here ¦3b

You can change the volume on songs in iTunes. I have an iPod, so I kinda have to use it, but it does let you do other cool things, like adjusting song volumes individually (or in groups) or setting your music up t play back without gaps. I think you can even burn with it.

And it's free.

The weather here is also cold and wet, and I wish it'd go away. It's less that 40*. (This is made even more freakish by the knowledge that I had to roll down my windows to run errands on my lunch break yesterday, because it was around 80* until 5 or 6pm. Bleh.)

I'll give it some thought, but it's been on this computer before, and it took an awful lot of room; I'm apprehensive, especially since I've already got two huge art programs taking up space.
