No IM links, as I am teh suck at chatting and generally dislike it.

Inksome is probably where I'll be headed if the shit really does hit the fan, but I'll try and poke my head around other places as well.

I do have a permanent account here, so I sat down and did the math. Going by the twelve-month prices, I've technically gotten my money's worth by now - I'd have paid about $236 by now if I'd paid regularly, whereas I'm pretty sure I only shelled out $150 for my account upgrade in the first place. *waits to be corrected*



In worse news, one of my students (the ones I bus around) apparently caught malaria while vacationing over winter break, and is staying in Africa until he gets better(?). Though I guess this at least means he doesn't have/carry cicle-cell anemia?


In slightly better news, this hat was quite well received, and Quire starts again on Sunday, which means I'll be getting my concert CD soon. Also, cute animals! And basically anything else I can think of that might get your mind off the two bad things, s-sigh.

I was wondering why my flist was suddenly scrambling for other journals. Makes me wonder if I should look into an Inksome, because this isn't just the usual bs drama, this is downsizing of the system.

To be fair--sorry, unsolicited opinion time which you can ignore!--I don't think the system is going to degrade right from under us immediately. I'm guessing it's going to be gradual, if anything.

Yeah, I figure it'll be a gradual thing too- but since I don't panic every time LJ does something, I currently don't have any journals anywhere else. I'd like to at least have it set up in case the gradual problem becomes more of an issue.

Well, in the history of ALL GREAT SOAP OPERAS EVER, which, considering length and love polygons and implausible explanations for vanishing and amnesia and stuff, DCMK might as well be, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT AKAI MAY HAVE HAD AN IDENTICAL TWIN OR SOMETHING WHO IS JUST NOW SHOWING UP. ALSO, CONSIDER CLONES.

...If it would be any help at all, I could kinda work harder on Communications and attempt to get out that chapter that's all about Akemi and Akai (who are both still not dead!) and also Eisuke going shopping together. I think it's about two or three chapters ahead of what I have posted now, so hopefully it wouldn't take too long to get there? Maybe? Also, it would help me get closer to FINISHING THE DAMN FIC ALREADY, so I might be hoping you'll say yes regardless.
