Today socchan made a very interesting trip.

On the way from the blood donors' she was abducted by aliens. She liked them so much she decided to take one with her of her own free will.



She has also decided to quit being a bus driver. It just hasn't been taking her enough places. Instead she has decided to become a travel agent and will be offering tours of the Brain Slug Planet at a discounted rate. All who would like to visit should pick up their instructions here and get back to her after completing them.



((The pattern there is free ♥ There's a free knitting pattern around the web somewhere, too, but being as I can't knit, I didn't bookmark it. Also, the antenna on mine didn't stick up on their own, so I put in some flexible wire to help them out.))

socchan would like to inform you how helpful and easy to understand the tutorials linked at the bottom of the instructions are. They require very little thought at all, leaving the majority to nourish us.

((Seriously, though, the tutorials there are pretty good :3 They start with the basics and even include video demonstrations. The tutor does have an accent of medium thickness, but it wasn't too much of a problem for me.))

How can something so insidious be so cute? BTW, did I ever tell you I made a crochet kitty? I gave it to my goddaughter for Christmas. It was so cute I was tempted to keep it. But I can always make another. ^_^

*snicker* I'm tempted to make a few of my own.

Hard to say. She is two and I haven't seen her since she was less than 2 months old (lives a very long way away). But her parents said that it will help teach concepts like "cat." Here's a pic (http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/Ytak2/?action=view&current=IMG_1151.jpg).

bet they do. Next time I'm at Wal-Mart, I'll pick up some yarn that color. It can be my Halloween costume for next year. XD

It didn't look that great at first. I had to do some extra crocheting to make the ears (and the first tail I made, well, did not look right in the slightest. in fact, it looked downright naughty).

T-the tail I put on mine, I uh. Ended up just using, but I still thought it looked a little like the cat was pooping it out ._.
