Via The Mary Sue.
[OPENING: Pan down on three people approaching a village in a blizzard, one of them carrying a lantern. Close-up of the people; pan across the village. The people approach a house; a man is at the door with his own lantern.]
MAN: The White Lotus has honored my family by coming. [man bows] Thank you.
[The man opens the door and we pull in on a rather ragged-looking woman sweeping the floor. She smiles and bows.]
WOMAN: Welcome.
[A decorative(?) sheild falls off the wall and hits the floor as soon as she finishes speaking. The White Lotus trio enter the house, looking skeptical.]
WHITE LOTUS DUDE: We have investigated many claims, both here and in the Northern tribes. All have turned out to be false.
[The man approaches the woman and puts an arm around her shoulders; she looks briefly at him, they smile, then she addresses the White Lotus trio.]
WOMAN: Then you should be happy to know your search has come to an end.
[Switch back to Lotus trio]
WHITE LOTUS DUDE: What makes you so sure your daughter is 'the one'?
[Back to man and woman; woman turns]
WOMAN: Korra, please come in here!
[Up-tempo percussion starts as something goes flying in front of the Lotus trio, who now look surprised; they turn to the wall of the house where a circle has been punched through the stone and a small girl can be seen silhouetted and posing.]
KORRA: I'm the Avatar, you gotta deal with it!
[Piping music as Korra jumps through the hole she made in the wall and proceeds to demonstrate fire-, earth-, and water-bending to the stunned Lotus trio; the Lotus trio back away from Korra's bending demonstration. The camera focuses on Korra again and we watch as she does some fancy waterbending, a quick earthbending move, and the clip ends when she punches flames at the camera.]
OMG, Korra <3333 I did not think it was possible for me to become more enamored of her before the show actually airs, and yet, here I am. Korra, I will have no trouble dealing with you as the Avatar. Unlike most of your world, I'm sure ;)
I'm gratified to see that one of the Lotus trio is indeed a lady! It's a visible step forward, albeit a small one.
I'm super excited to see Korra being all over-confident and buff; it's not a storyline you see assigned to female characters very often. All the other stuff I've seen has suggested that Korra's real challenge on the bending side of things is going to be the spiritual aspect, and given that she can bend three elements at preschool age, I'm completely not surprised. Given all of that, I'm also unsurprised that airbending is what she still has to work on, since it seems like it's the most spirituality-dependent of the four elements(?).
Also, with a kid like Korra, I so get why her parents/house look a little wrecked/stressed :P They clearly love her to bits, too <3
Anyway, that's all I've got on the subject for now. Korra, whee! Your show cannot possibly air soon enough!

My pleasure ^_^ It gave me a great excuse to watch the clip a few more times ;)
