So apparently the current storm hitting the Midwest is Winter Storm Q. Considering that the one in December was Winter Storm Draco (see also), I am now thoroughly convinced that we have some species of geek in charge of naming them. You are welcome to try and convince me otherwise, but I cannot guarantee it will work.

Maybe Winter Storm Vader will be less wussy than this one. Cause I have to say, I, uh, wasn't impressed. BEYOND my usual FU-I'm-Alaskan not impressed.

Which is not to say the day after that very pretty snowfall wasn't a very pleasant day with a nice-day winter temperature.
