Job News-ish Stuff

soc_puppetHaven't heard back from Breads From Anna. I stopped in yesterday morning when I hadn't heard back on Tuesday to possibly pick up my test-recipe dish, and then learned that Anna was sick, which might be why she hasn't called. I'll probably be calling in myself this afternoon to get more information, one way or another, because...
The hotel bakery staff are not only looking for more part-timers, they have explicitly told me that they want me to apply. (Seriously, two of them had a loud-and-clear conversation while I was in the lab portion of the bakery about how they desperately needed more part-timers because they are absolutely SWAMPED, and they really hoped that someone would apply soon, and did I know anyone who was looking for work? HINT HINT. (They totally know I'm looking for work.)) I would absolutely be up for this, I just want to find out for certain whether Breads From Anna also wants me or not, so I can work out any potential scheduling things. Because JOB. A way to afford that nifty new health insurance thing the government is pushing through (despite everything the Republicans are trying to do to stop it)!
My mom said she has only two wishes for me, and that's for me to be happy and have health insurance. I want that, too, Mom.
