Horrifying thing about being forced to reorganize your entire craft supply stock number one: I have how much yarn?!

Horrifying thing about being forced to reorganize your entire craft supply stock number two: Facing the fact that I don't actually have as much room as I want for yarn that it turns out I'm not going to do anything with, and figuring out what I can live without.

Horrifying thing about being forced to reorganize your entire craft supply stock number three: I now want to do All of the projects and can't pick one to start on. (Cherry blossom mantle! No, lilac flower mantle! No, Welcome to Night Vale blanket! Flying pigs! All the flying pigs!)



(There were plumbing issues. Now there are fixtures from a craft store that is moving, which make one corner of my room legit look like a craft store itself, and a good eight inches of space between the bottom most skein of yarn and the floor. And I'm still not done yet.)

Ugh, I feel you. Mine is fabric, but after the recent destashing of probably a third of the craft closet, there is still an awful lot of fabric in there. :o

On the up side, when it's all organized, walking into your personal craft store supply storage area is a pleasure. I just need to /use/ the goodies.

It's all so pretty over there! I've managed to sort a good chunk of it into individual colors as well as yarn types, and that's just so pleasing to the eye <3

There's also my Old, Old Stash that I've not even glanced at in several years, most of which I do not mind in the slightest sending to secondhand stores. It's been out of sight and out of mind for so long that I've forgotten what most of it is, even :P I'll miss some of it, but for the most part? I welcome the closet room.

Yay, pretty yarn! \o/ I find it way more inspiring to look at a well organized stash than to dig through a closet hoping for gold.

Hooray for destashing the Old Old stuff too. I did a lot of that recently. >.>

I'm experimenting with date tagging things, and if I haven't dealt with them in a year, reconsidering them.
