Current writing woe:

Colons and semicolons! They're everywhere! Why can't I simplify these thoughts into different sentences! ARGH!

(Listen, I'm not too worried about two or three in one fic, even if that fic is less than a thousand words long. When I'm getting two or three in a paragraph, though, then that's starting to spell trouble to me. Or rather, to punctuate trouble. Anyway, I need to fix this up. ...I'll see what I can wrangle during an editing binge, when I'm not trying to get all the words out first.)

As long as my sentences make sense, and are varied often enough in structure that they don't all look the same, I can accept my weakness.
