Jun. 26th, 2019 08:56 pmFuuuuuuck, the AO3 Board of Directors Election is coming up in a month and I don't know anything about any of the candidates! I don't even know who the candidates are! And the likelihood that I'll have the energy to do the research necessary myself by the second week of August is... not high.
Anyone know if any of them are focusing on accessibility at all? Or just know someone who's following the AO3 politics in general, so I can read their take on things? I've absolutely used the "This person has similar priorities to mine and has political signs in their yard, so I'll vote for who's on their signs" trick before, and am prepared to do so again.

Date: 2019-06-27 07:01 pm (UTC)...Q&A deadline was the 24th /o\ but there's bios and shit, Q&A answers will be up Presumably Before Jul 21, hopefully someone asked about accessibility
four candidates, two seats
only Morgan Schroeder mentions accessibility but that's in context of translation efforts?
based solely on the bios and shit, I'm thinking Schroeder and Sentance: Wright seems to be running on "OTW does more than just AO3", and Olin seems to be running on "two open seats mean we need more than two or three candidates", which are valid points but. but like. waiting for the Q&A.
