soc_puppetHaving beaten the game and finished the Isle of Armor story content, I gotta say: I feel like Swordward and Shieldbert's story and Chairman Rose's story should have taken each others' place in the narrative. Chairman Rose's environmental thing should've been the post-game story, while Swordword and Shieldbert would've been the red herring main plotline that tries to distract you from everything Rose is doing. Hell, the Swishy Bros would've had interesting rivalry potential for Team Yell, the team that really only exists to fill the standard "bad guy team" niche in the game. I mean, wow, talk about missed story potential!
As it is, the Swishy Bros' attempt to reinstate the monarchy post-game feels very pasted on; you know my preference for how it would've been treated, but even a few hints to it in the general storyline would've helped. Right now they kinda come out of nowhere. It's really the worst of both worlds.
