I was pretty horrified to learn that yes, I definitely work for one of the "better" institutions in the food industry, and that all the things I hate about it really are basically standard across the board (plus more that I'm lucky enough not to have to deal with). I was making half-hearted noise about unionizing even before Covid, and I'm sure as hell doubling down now.
