Got a bunch of sleep on Tuesday, had a more relaxed Thursday than expected (more sitting down at work than anticipated, which is welcome), and then lots more sleep today, which meant I had the energy to re-tape my window, yay! I even tried paint, but my crappy, cheap acrylics used for small art projects were unsurprisingly not up to the task of painting a window closed again 🙄 So instead I used hot glue and duct tape! That should hold for at least a few months.
("But Socchan, why did you break the seal and open your window in the first place if you know how cold it gets in winter in Iowa?" I thought it might be nice to have some fresh air in my room, and didn't know my window would be incapable of closing after. It was a difficult lesson to learn, and having learned it twice now, I will be taking it with me for the rest of my life. Because that's cheaper and/or easier than replacing the window latches that no longer match up.)
I'm also getting some more ear savers made while listening to the audiobook for Project Hail Mary. I've gotten to a point in the last hour or so of the book where the fact that I'm listening to a recording becomes extra interesting/relevant. The first couple of chapters were quite rough for me, mood-wise, but it's picked up considerably once the flashbacks started in earnest! ...And that's about as non-spoilery as I can get, I think 😅 Anyway, I've got eighteen ear savers done, and hope to have at least thirty-some to drop off soon-ish. Other than that, I'm trying to keep my activity levels moderate. (Is this fatigue? Do I have fatigue? Do I have some sort of new physical bullshit going on, or is it a continuation of previous physical and/or mental bullshit? Bleh, embodiment.)
