...Dreamwidth alerted me to unclosed italic tags in the previous post and wouldn't let me finish posting without closing the tags.

There were several sets of closed italics tags after the one I had initially missed the backslash on.

This is incredible. Remind me to drop another chunk of money on Dreamwidth when I get my tax refund.

I'd heard that this was a new feature, but I haven't seen it in action again!

...I definitely need to drop some money on Dreamwidth, because they deserve it.

I am quite pleased with it! It was pretty darn cool to see it working 😃

Yeah, I usually renew my paid account in December, while the sale is going on (I've found I rely a lot on the ability to search my own journal), but between this and the recent efforts to help LJ-users import safely, I'm inclined to spend a bit more.

If I don't wind up tossing some money to them for a paid account before then, I think I definitely will in December. I don't really need any of the paid features, but more and more I want to make sure that I financially support the things that make my life better, and that I want to have stick around! (Dreamwidth definitely being one of those things.)

Yay for Dreamwidth support :D I've been using the beta 'create entry' for a while and seen it do that. It's nice!!

It is so cool! This is the first time I've seen it in person, though whether it's because I've been doing well with HTML in general, or if I haven't been using them quite so much since the last time I missed a tag closure (prior to this feature), I couldn't say.
