soc_puppetThat feel when your Indian coworker tells you that your naan looks perfect and basically ideal and you have to remind yourself that she also told you that actual Indian naan is made in a very different way (at least where she comes from), but you're still so distracted you forget to add the water to the second part of the hoagie recipe.
(...the hoagie dough did not turn out well, for the record, but I now have a very good go-to for reassuring people who make mistakes! "Let me tell you about the time I accidentally forgot the water and decided to try adding it in after the dough had been mixing for two minutes of fourteen...")
(My boss was cool about it. We're also decently well stocked on hoagies anyway, I was mostly trying to get a jump on them for want of other things to do.)
