Last week (oops) I hosted Thursday Recs at queerly_beloved; this week I did the same, but included an announcement/re-rec for the Shivadh Romances by Copperbadge, on account of Sam starting to post the newest book in the series: The Twelve Points of Caleb Canto!

On Saturday, I made this month's public post on kittens_and_spitefic; the prompt this month is about making barrier method contraception sexy and is therefore declared to be NSFW/18+ (though I'm pretty sure it's possible to make a fill for the prompt that is only M/R rated). I also left a super quick fill to another user's prompt post, about AU versions of canon characters; I came up with a couple of concepts for Wanbon-chan Goes To School, since the poster expressed interest in that fake anime a while ago.

In a response to a Kittens and Spitefic prompt "decrying" AU-ified characters:

Oooo, this attitude pisses me off way too much! In fact, you know that one episode of Wanbon-chan Goes to School where he and his friends pretend to be a sentai team? Well, I'm going to make up a whole AU based on that episode, and start writing fanfic about the superhero alter-egos they came up with, including new civilian identities! And also! I'm going to write an AU version where they switch species, and Wanbon-chan's name is going to be changed to Nyanmaru-kun! So there!
