Pokémon Planning

soc_puppetI think I'm going to restart my Pokémon Scarlet game. I've beaten two gyms, one Titan, and one Team Star base, and I'm just... not feeling inspired to play it.
Part of it is that my team-building was disrupted early. I had a whole team planned out, and then got kinda sidetracked by an offer that'd let me end up with all three starters, and, well. I haven't really been as interested in most of my team as a result. Though I will fully admit that it could also be the game mechanics, which is where my actual strategy for my next playthrough attempt comes in: I'll start with my preferred starter and have the other two on the backburner, so to speak. Since there's three main storyline paths, I'll take one starter through each, with a new team for each branch. I'll probably start with Victory Road, then go for Path of Legends, and do Starfall Street last, but wait to take on the Elite Four until I've beaten all three main plots.
Dunno if it'll work, but if it'll help me actually play and enjoy this whole new "sorta open-world" approach to the franchise, I'm willing to give it a shot! Now I just gotta arrange some trades 😂
