Right? At this point, even the inclusion of some specific flags might be seen as queer coding (as in, "someone queer worked on this"), or at least give a strong impression that there's an ally on staff, because who else would think to include those flags? And queer people are more likely to stop and shop where they know they'll be accepted, and especially if they think there's queer people working there, so the more evidence the hotel can provide to that effect, the better their pull will be with queer customers. And it won't even be a lie, because a good half of the bakery workers are queer, and probably more elsewhere in the hotel! And since it's also a teaching hotel, it could also signal that it's a safe(r) place for queer students, and...
Anyway, I think it would be cool if someone in charge were to spend five or ten minutes listening to me about this, and then pay me to make at least the ten most popular flags 😉 And that's not even getting into other ideas I have. (We do major events for Easter and Mother's Day, I could definitely come up with some designs for those! And a nice, tasteful winter-y design for December! Put fireworks in it for Independence Day! Etc etc.)
