soc_puppetI may have actually gotten through all of "my" stuff in the record room??? I mean, there's a strong possibility that there's still some stuff buried somewhere, but I got all of it that I could find. Even with it being more than I expected, I still managed to sort through all that there was, and now I'm kinda sitting here like... Now what.
Most likely I'll be moving on to the stuff that's scattered around my room and sorting that, since my room is in desperate need of organizing, but yeah. There's still a fair amount that needs to be sorted and organized in the record room as well before I'll be content to turn it into my own private media-and-crafting den, but I'm still proud of the progress I've made.
One thing I haven't decided whether or not to keep is an old lined notebook with some of my drawings from junior high in it. I'll probably keep one of the several I found, if only so I can look back and see how much progress I've made, but I still don't want to take up too much space, you know? And I also still have to figure out where I'm actually going to store a lot of the things I've decided to keep. With luck, organizing my room will help sort that problem out, but we'll see what happens. I may have to downsize anyway.

When in doubt about saving things, I capture them as much as I can digitally. So I won't have the ability to fondle that necklace I made in 6th grade, but I still have the picture.

I might go through and photograph a bunch of those early pictures, then store the data on an external hard drive; I definitely don't have the spoons to scan all of them! In the mean time, I did narrow things down to a single lined notebook, so I'll only be taking pictures of that if it comes to it.
