Record Room Update

After moving a whole bunch of other things roughly out of the way, and with a tremendous amount of help from my dad, the recliner is now in its new home in the record room, just off the laundry room. It's sitting between a table that I managed to keep a little bit of clear space on and an old-fashioned upright Victrola, where I'm sure I'll be able to listen to as many of the absurd number of records available to me as I would like 😜 Anyway, the chair looks great there, it fits very well, and I'm looking forward to doing some proper lounging there in the near future.
I also managed to clear most of the stuff I'd moved into the laundry room back out of it. There are still a few stray boxes, but it's nowhere near as bad as it has been for the past... gosh, three weeks? Honestly, while that's longer than any of us would have liked (especially my mom), it's also a lot less time than I was dreading it would take. I'd absolutely love it if the remaining boxes could find a new, better home in the next week or so, but even this much is pretty great, TBH.
More cleaning of my actual room is in my future; I've taken a few days off, what with work and the heat and also Pokémon Go Fest this weekend. I'm hoping to do some more proper cleaning on Tuesday and Wednesday. Oh, I also ordered myself a new bed frame! The one I have is... adequate, except how I'm a very restless sleeper and it's adjustable. Twice now have I wiggled it a bit too wide for my box spring only to be met with an uncomfortable sinking sensation because the frame supports are simply too narrow. Not so with the frame I ordered! The upcoming frame is also extra tall, which will give me more storage space under it, which I am hoping will help in turn with my room cleaning ambition. Here's hoping it all goes to plan!

I've got ahem collecting tendencies, and I've managed to limit them to one tangible -- beads -- and the rest are digital. I am perfectly aware that storing copies of every fic I've read and podfic I've listened to is pointless. And it makes me happy and it doesn't need dusting and I can rearrange the furniture at random.
