The progress we have made, I tell you! When the declaration was originally signed, Harris not only wouldn't have been able to vote, she likely would have been considered property. If she ends up essentially running the country for that milestone... well! The US has made plenty of wrong turns, but if she makes it (and I really, really, really hope she does, naturally), I think it'd be some really on-point symbolism, incidental or not.
