Ahh, thanks for more context re Wiscon. As I've nattered on at length, I've got a push-pull relationship with the concom: when it was good, it was cosmic. When it was bad, it just fucking sucked. My Swiss-cheese memory doesn’t help: I would forget that, no, I don't want to work with that person or do that task again. For too long I wanted to be that cool person who could do it, more than I wanted to do it.
(For a while MyGuy would attempt to remind me, but he gave up after a decade.)
