Safe!

I have arrived safely in Texas! I am in my hotel room with the internet set up and honestly about ready to keel over into a nap or better.

I managed to keep my mask on the entire time I was in the airport and on my flight. I did stop to eat something, but the airport had a small outdoor patio that was open to the public, so I ate a very chilly meal there in my coat.

My flight was uneventful; my family's seats were split up, so I ended up next to fun and nice passenger. This passenger was also writing by hand in a notebook when I arrived, so I commented that we were in the flight writing club together! This got us started on a brief conversation on writing and our lives and so forth. I did not have to explain fanfiction to them, which was nice 😉 I got around 850-ish words written on the flight and am pleased with my progress on this fic!

I did find a small air purifier to take with me on the trip, but haven't actually pulled it out in the hotel room yet. This is a good reminder that I should do that.
