Fandom: Detective Conan/Magic Kaito
Summary: Short. Cute. Fluffy. Pointless. Middle of a heist, implies long-term relationship. Other than that, _nothing happens_. Convention has been defied.
Blame: Entirely Icka's.
Fic:
Interruptions
"You alright Saguru?"
Saguru blinked, somewhat disoriented. It wasn't that he minded being kissed by Shin'ichi; far from it. Nor did it make a bad damage-meter when the other boy wanted to make sure he was okay after a brief brush with danger. Sometimes, though, he wished that his brushes with danger weren't so frequent. Or, in some cases, so menial.
Like now for instance. Did a near fall really have to worry the famed Detective of the East quite that much?
"I'm fine, I think--" Saguru began, but was interrupted.
"Would you two please make up your minds and either get a room or get on with the chase?" Kaitou Kid yelled impatiently. "I'm starting to get bored over here."
Perhaps it was not really how often either of them got into trouble, Saguru ammended with a glare in the Kid's direction, but the situations that caused the trouble in the first place.
"You'd think he'd be used to it with how long we've been chasing him together," Shin'ichi muttered, not quite hiding his amusement. He eyed Saguru hopefully. "You don't suppose he'd give it all up if he was bored enough, do you?"
Saguru rolled his eyes. "We can make out later." Identical groans of disappointment came from two different sources, and Saguru pitched his voice to reach the Kid, "Unless you'd care to join us!"
Shin'ichi spluttered indignantly, but Saguru didn't have to see the Kid to know he was grinning. "Thanks for the invitation, but I'm afraid I really must be going. People to see, gems to steal, you know the drill." A monocle glinted in the poor lighting. "Perhaps another time?"
"Of course." Saguru brushed himself off and motioned toward the Kid. "Shall we?"
Shin'ichi grinned. "I thought you'd never ask."
Whoops of laughter echoed through the building as the two detectives chased after the thief.

This thing grew as I typed it +_+. I swear, it was shorter on paper.
Though, on the other hand, the paper version doesn't have that implied Shin'ichi-Hakuba-Kid thing, so I guess this one wins after all.
Still a teensy bit unsatisfied with the ending. Maybe I can work something out later.

Oops - -;... Thanks for catching that ^^;. I'm bad with the 'i' and 'e' words in the first place, and I'm not particularly fond of the LJ spellchecker, so I don't use it a lot. Anyway, fixed now.

Oh, dear... oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh DEAR. *HOWLS* XD
Kind of wondering the set up for that, how it would work.

The Task Force is probably immune to Shin'ichi-Hakuba fluff by now -_-
