Oct. 20th, 2005 05:13 pmRight. So, my picture for the CFUD calendar is going to be due soon. Well, not just mine, everyone's really. Anyway, since I'm doing November, and since the camp is set in the US, I thought it would be appropriate to do a US-style Thanksgiving dinner for a scene ^_^ And what more appropriate for a turkey equivalent than one of the many psychic tucans flying around? So, in hopes of finding some good images of tucans to use as references, I go searching online.
Sadly, ADW (Animal Diversity Web, a very good site and where I found my information on rabbits) is not doing too well on this computer ;_; Otherwise, I'd link. It might not be the computer, either; it could be a software thing. It takes forever for the pictures to DL, if they even do, and then it slows everything down when I leave the site. In light of this, I decided to just do a Google image search--which has saved me more than once in the past. Mostly I wanted a good tucan beak pattern to go off of, as I had a fairly good idea what the body structure was like.
Who knew there were so many different kinds of tucans? @_@ There were about eight different beak patterns, though one or two could've been repeats, and several different chest/facial coloration patterns *_* It's going to be hell deciding on one, 'specially since I don't think that the psychic tucans are of a particular type. Le sigh.
