Drunken Sailor Song Challenge
Jan. 26th, 2005 10:23 amGot out of gym yesterday to go listen to/watch the Hampton Quartet ^_^. It's like a regular string quartet in that there are two violinists, one cellist and one violist, but unlike a regular string quartet in that, instead of Mozart, they play classic rock ^___^. Very good thing to get out of gym for.
Also, so much hate for the bridge projects. Especially the fact that we aren't allowed to use chopsticks, even though I could probably supply ten per group for all the physics students this year. *sigh*
Was reminded recently of what my friends and I did to keep ourselves entertained on the bus ride to Luzern (Switzerland) last summer. We sang the Drunken Sailor Song ^_^ You know, that one song that goes 'What do you do with a drunken sailor (repeat twice) early in the morning?' and then you have to make up the verses. After about ten minutes we got pretty good at it ^_^.
Things we did to a drunken sailor:
Tie him up and throw him overboard
Shave his belly with a rusty razor (Senpai really liked that one ^^;)
Stomp around and make loud noises (one of the few where the end is altered, from 'early in the morning' to 'cause he's all hungover')
Dress him up in women's clothing
Take some compromising photos
etc...
It kind-of mutated from there to become the Yaoi Fangirl Song ^^. As in, What do you do with a Yaoi fangirl?
(Lock 'er in a cage with two bishonen
Give her doujins, make her translate
Take away her slashy manga
Sign her up for anime con staff
...and so forth)
As I was submersed in Detektiv Conan manga at the time, it also mutated (for me) into the Drunken Kaitou song ^^;, but I couldn't really think of any verses (and it's more fun to do with other people anyway).
So! Your challenge, should you be interested: What would you do with a Drunken Sailor/Yaoi Fangirl/Drunken Kaitou? I need more verses.
