Clock-related griping and goodbye-for-now post

Okay, it's official. My alarm clock is far too obstnant to actually ring between seven and eight o'clock--especially if I actually set the alarm for that time. When I set it for seven-thirty, yasee, it goes off at eight thirty. This is a bit of a problem, because the parents like for me to be up between seven fifteen and seven thirty every day, and if the alarm doesn't go off until an hour later, I'm going to end up having to get up at seven every day for a week as punishment >_< (I'm going to have to once vacation's over, too. >_O) Anyway, knowing this, I set my alarm an hour early (thinking that I had to be up and ready by seven-thirty so seven o'clock sounded good for getting ready). Unfortunately, the universe conspired against me, and the alarm went off at the time it had been set. Worse, I didn't notice. Which is why I was up and ready to go at roughly six-forty, which was when I took the time to examine my watch more closely. I would much prefered to have slept in the extra hour.

Blasted time-keeping device.

Anyway, I'll be headed off into the sunset sunrise risen sun soon. I should be back home around the sixteenth, if I'm remembering correctly. I'll miss you all, and hope to see you then! (And, possibly, hijack a computer sometime between. But I don't want to count my chickens yet.)
