I's a Zombified Fangirl

Am recovering from great happy fun time with Icka and Mati and also Candy (who we somewhat kidnapped). Catching up on things, since I spent Sunday and Monday effectively without internet access and went light on Saturday besides, which meant I ended up skimming a lot. If there was anything you wanted me to read more closely, lemme know and I'll dig in, really. Also, my parents are awesome and easy-going and I owe them big. And the next time I have friends from out of town stay over, I'm going to get more concrete plans out of them so I don't have to deal with nagging questions of "What are you going to do? When are they going to get here?" and so forth. ...Also also, I'll make sure to give directions from the right orientation (NESW, failure me and also slightly Dad who was otherwise awesome). Did the entertaining people thing, which turned out pretty well. Am now assigned to watch the entirety of the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series, which has been hilarious so far. May or may not have a report on it later.

Also learned that no, not everyone knows that fireflys' butts blink in and out instead of being a constant glow. And will have to start a couple of memes. ...And remember to ask Mati what series it was that we were thinking about sticking Kaito into, 'cuz I can't remember for the life of me now, and finally writing the one where Max of Pokémon is Conan is going to feel incomplete if I don't remember/find out again. Though I suppose I could just write most of it and then add the rest as an omake later or something.

And yes. I am still slightly asleep, and I need to pamper my rats and stuff, so I don't know that you'll get a lot out of me until this evening (when I will only be on until eight, rassa frassa summer hours =_=). May actually go home to lay down (and/or make pancakes, because I've suddenly got a craving) after I finish downloading this episode of PGSM.

Finally, the second draft of my app is done, and I'll hopefully get around to sending it off to betas sometime today. (Anyone wanna volunteer? ♥♥♥? If I actually get more than five, I'll probably cut it off there, 'cuz I'm going to want some people left to vote for me.) Am also hopefully going to make the intro post at cfud_scans later tonight. Thankfully, I typed it up the other day when I had little better to do, so it should be ready to go with just a copy/paste from the WordPad document. Fewer coherent steps needed = better at the moment. And I think that about wraps it up for this post. I'll try and summarize events (though they've mostly blended together now) in a later post, which will probably include pictures. Yay, pictures!

Edit: Stuff tonight may be a little more "popping in and out and doing things in a rush" than I was hoping for, depending on whether or not Dad herds us out to the Enlenspiegel* puppet show tonight. *This is copy-pasted from the e-mail, but the spelling just doesn't look right to me :/ 'Specially with how that first syllable is pronounced more or less like "oil".

The fandom_wank post is here, but Journal Fen is having (likely related) traffic problems, so you'll probably have to make do with getting the basic idea here. That is, unless someone gets up a mirror or something. Thought you might want to know. Er, that is, if you didn't already.

Edit: If anyone's interested in how to minimize the searchability of your journal, there's instructions here, which basically boil down to "Check the second to the last box in viewing options, the one that's labeled "Minimize your journal's inclusion in search engine results". You can also then go to LjSEEK and disable indexing, though I haven't the foggiest idea what that means.
